Community Dinner November 15

It has become a tradition not only to have pie for dessert at the November and December Community Dinners but also to give a whole pie to anyone who wants one.  It is a small act of love that means a great deal to the dinner guests; in fact, they started talking about the “Great Pie Give-Away” at the August dinner.  Needless to say, we will need a lot of pies.  Pumpkin, apple, sweet potato, and pecan are all big hits!  Since the dinners are being held at the Methodist Church during the construction, the logistics for dropping off your pies are somewhat more complicated.  If at all possible, please bring your pie(s) to the Methodist Church between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 15.  The door is opposite City Hall and next to 710 Princess Anne Street.  It would be helpful to know if you are donating a pie, so please contact Karen, ksjohnson422@msn.com.  Would you like to help serve, visit with guests, or clean up?  Let Karen know that, also.  December 20 is the next dinner, and the same process will be repeated.  Thanks!
