Presbyterian Women September News

Guided by the four parts of our purpose, Presbyterian Women witness

to the reality of God’s present realm:

1. To nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study

2. To support the mission of the Church worldwide

3. To work for justice and peace

4. To build an inclusive, caring community

Summer vacations are over, school has started again and the women of our         congregation are continuing their work at full speed.  PW Circles and the Women’s Bible Study group have had their first meetings for the Fall.  The ecumenical     Women’s group has begun a study of the Book of Acts of the Apostles.  They meet Thursdays from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the Middle House.  Contact Jane Kolakowski if would like to join them.

Five Circles are beginning a study of the Ten Commandments titled Love Carved   in Stone.  They meet at various times – some at the Church, some in private homes.    If you are not a part of a Circle and want to join one, contact Debbie Leimer for options. If you are interested in individual study, you can order a copy of Love Carved in Stone directly from Horizons.  Horizons has additional study resources available to order including a the Horizons Magazine.  Each monthly issue is full of information about the work that Presbyterian Women are doing all over the globe.  Check out to see if there is something that will feed your spirit:
