Property Updates
Our campus contains 4 buildings--the Sanctuary, the Education Building, and 3 Row Houses. Whether or not they are on the historical registry, all of them have needed and continue to need renovations, repairs, and updates.
You can find up to date information on the projects overseen by the Property Committee here.
We have a contract to update the piping insulation which allows condensation and mold to form in the ceiling tiles of the 1st floor and fellowship hall. We will also be replacing 240 tiles.
The molding of the sanctuary bell tower is damaged, and we are currently repairing it. After it is repaired, we will be repainting.
The manse is undergoing kitchen updates, has recently had a bathroom renovation, has new carpeting in the basement, and has had extensive plumbing work including a water sediment filtration system for all incoming water in all of the row houses. This included extensive plaster and ceiling work as well. The basement and top floor have been repainted. All three floors have new window treatments.
We have recently replaced the sanctuary elevator door. The sanctuary elevator is a modified residential grade elevator, and it gets a lot of use. It's imperative that we keep it in good working order.
Our church has renewed our contract with Bartlett Tree Experts to care for our trees and shrubs.
