Congregational Retreat 2025

Congregational Retreat at

Camp Hanover

April 5 - 6

Join us for our theme of "Sent Out" to explore how God has always sent imperfect people to do a new thing in the world. Come discover how God is still sending us to continue bringing about God’s work in the world. A retreat is a time for our church family to be together, away from our usual setting to fellowship, learn, and form our faith.

This year, worship will be on Saturday at Camp Hanover. Saturday evening, the  retreat will have 2 options. Option 1 is to remain at Camp Saturday night and into Saturday morning to be fully immersed in God’s creation at camp and enjoy retreat favorites like the Saturday camp fire and Sunday cinnamon rolls. Option 2 is to return to the comforts of your home and continue the retreat Sunday at church, with a LIFT class at 9:00, followed by a retreat style worship in the sanctuary at 10:00.

Think Camp Hanover is not for you? You might be wrong. Camp Hanover’s recent renovations have made it more accommodating, comfortable, and accessible for all day or overnight visitors of any age. Our Saturday activities allow for full engagement in the retreat without having to hike all over camp. We can also find a ride for you to and from camp. Our goal is to have as many people in our church family at our congregational retreat. If you have any questions, please ask Brittany or Jen, or a member of the Christian Education Committee.

What do we do?

The retreat is for all ages, and all family shapes and sizes. One feature of the schedule this year is a class led by Pastor Elizabeth

Do I have to drive myself?

No. We can help you find a ride there and back.

Is it fun?

Yes! Here's what one person said about the retreat: "Camp Hanover is a place apart from the hustle and bustle where I feel at peace amidst God's creation. The retreat has provided opportunities to laugh, explore, serve and worship with others in a unique relaxed way. It is a place of great memories and fresh opportunities!"
